Job Summary: Identifies and manages medical problems within the CRNP scope of practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides appropriate patient care to include recording patient medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, discharge planning and providing accurate medical record documentation.
  • Communicates with attending physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside the CRNP's knowledge base or scope of practice.
  • Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn.
  • Communicates and coordinates patient care with patient, family, community health services and interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrates professional commitment through voluntary attendance at continuing education programs, independent reading, and other professional activities.
  • May perform other duties such as daily patient care rounds and manage outpatient concerns.

Required Experience:

  • Current PA CRNP Licensure.
  • At least 2 years of clinical vascular experience preferred, , but will train a motivated candidate with interest in vascular and neuroradiology.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and take appropriate actions.
  • Personal Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
