Emergency Radiologist, Allegheny Health Network, Pittsburgh, PA
The Department of Radiology at the Allegheny Health Network, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Radiologist. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic emergency radiology coverage at an academic medical center that includes an adult Level 1 trauma center, as well as a Level 2 trauma center. Coverage is also provided to four emergency departments.
Candidates must have fellowship training in emergency/trauma radiology (or abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal or neuroradiology with an emphasis on emergency and trauma radiology).
Candidates must have a demonstrated career interest in Emergency Radiology, strong clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems, must be able to function at a high level in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work well in a collaborative setting.
Candidates will be required to read US, CT, MR, NM and conventional radiography; however, performance of image-guided procedures is not a requirement.
The position provides a flexible work schedule consisting of 12-hours shifts every third week. All health system facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment and PACS system.
The physician will be employed by the Allegheny Clinic of the Allegheny Health Network. Total compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
