Job Summary: Coordinates communication from EMS providers and referral agencies to appropriate areas with WPAHS.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and directs ground and air notification for incoming ambulances
• Coordinates and dispatches specialty teams within WPAHS facilities
• Enters data for all activities performed within the communication center
• Provides direct communication to security staff and dispatches officer when indicated
• Monitors safety and security for areas of responsibility
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

• Completion of and EMT program
• EMT or EMT-P
• Dispatching experience for an EMS agency or emergency operations center preferred
