 Job Summary:
Maintains safety and structure of the milieu, observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan and reports information to appropriate staff. Works under nursing supervision.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide for an on-going assessment of changes in patient status and gathers pertinent patient care data through rounding and patient interaction using all available resources.
  • Organizes patient care tasks according to priority and importance of tasks to be completed.
  • Obtains vital signs and height and weight measurements. Provides crisis intervention on the unit to maintains safety. Responds to Code Grays.
  • Reports any changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the master treatment plan.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year of mental health or clinical experience preferred.
