Job Summary:
Performs primarily as a Plumber, but will also need to be responsible for general maintenance. Also fulfills duties in HVAC, electronics, carpentry, electrical, or structural maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs duties of maintenance mechanic such as but not limited to installing/repairing equipment pertaining to the operation of plant; renovating/constructing buildings and grounds; corrective/preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment and facility.
- Performs electrical, plumbing, carpentry, structural, HVAC maintenance based upon area of expertise.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in one or several building trades in a hospital setting preferred.
- Technical training in area of specialty preferred.
- Current Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Certificate in HVAC and stationary engineer's license preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems and takes appropriate actions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
