The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is recruiting Nocturnists for a brand new hospitalist program at Jefferson Hospital in the beautiful southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA.
Jefferson Hospital is an award-winning 341-bed hospital located in the beautiful southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA, where nearly 400 physicians provide their expertise in more than 40 specialties. The beautiful facility boasts comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, as well as a Cardiovascular Institute, Cancer Institute with Radiation Oncology, Orthopaedic Institute, Women and Infants Center, Women's Diagnostic Center, Sleep Disorders Center, Wound Care Center, Bariatric Surgery Center, Therapy Services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric units.
A recent surgical suite renovation features a state-of-the-art, minimally-invasive, peripheral vascular suite and minimally-invasive surgical suites including robotic surgery.
Since its inception, The Cardiovascular Institute at Jefferson Hospital has received top national and professional awards that underscore its success with complex cardiac surgical procedures. It has been rated #1 in quality in Western Pennsylvania by Comparion Medical Analytics and #15 in the US for Major Cardiac Surgery. Jefferson Hospital was also the first hospital in Pennsylvania to be designated by the American Heart Association as a Mission: Lifeline Heart Attack Receiving Center. The AHA has also designated Jefferson Hospital a stroke receiving center.
The Orthopaedic Institute is an AHN designated Diamond Care site for Hip and Knee Replacement. • Our busy Emergency department sees over 55,000 visits a year. • Our Women and Infants Center is the first to open in Pennsylvania in 33 years and had over 700 births in the first year.

The qualified candidate must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and must either have a PA license of be eligible to get one prior to employment.
