Job Summary: Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients.
  • Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients.
  • Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes).
  • Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and
  • Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license required.
  • Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance may be required depending on location.
  • Depending on location, may require frequent local travel, including visits to patient homes and community settings.
  • Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting may be required in physician offices.
