Job Summary: Transports patients, medical records, mail, specimens and equipment/materials throughout the facility.
Job Responsibilities:

• Transports inpatients and outpatients within the facility from initial start location to the destination location.
• Delivers equipment/materials and specimens to requesting department. Includes use of the pneumatice tube system.
• Serves as a Hospital ambassador and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Ensures that transportation equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• Proficiency in dealing with customer service.
• High degree of problem solving and decision making tools.
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills needed to maintain working relationships, with both internal and external departments and customers at all levels.
• Ability to maintain the highest measure confidentiality.
