Job Summary: Provides overall management and organization of personnel, procedures and equipment for assigned divisions within Medical Imaging, assuring compliance with all licensing, regulatory and accreditation agencies as well as financial performance of the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational oversight of assigned Medical Imaging division(s), assuring compliance with policies and procedures, managing high volume throughput and communication with Radiologist, referring physicians and specialists, and assuring all business processes are functioning at high efficiency and productivity in accomplishing defined outcomes
  • Recruits, develops, retains, evaluates performance and competency, and recommends/carries out approved disciplinary action with staff
  • In collaboration with the Vice President of Operations, plans annual budget according to volume projections, FTEs/productivity, supplies and equipment analysis, and other operational costs.  Manages financial operations of assigned division according to budget plan
  • Assures compliance with all regulatory, licensing and accreditation agencies.  Participates in hospital quality and performance improvement committees and service initiatives as indicated

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or related field preferred
  • ARRT Registered Technologist and/or full certification in a medical imaging specialty or PA nursing license with advanced certification in Radiology Nursing. 
  • 6 years experience in progressively more responsible medical imaging, including 2 years of supervisory experience
