Job Summary: Assists technologists with providing efficient, quality patient services by coordinating patient flow, and verifying and communicating examination protocols to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Enters and retrieves accurate information into RIS.
• Greets and assists the patient before, during, and following procedures. Prepares exam rooms for procedures.
• Provide clerical support to the section such as order clarification, faxing reports, answering phones, film file room and scheduling.
• Maintains adequate supplies for efficient operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• Responsible for answering questions and for identifying and defining problems related to daily work occurrences. Employee may also resolve these problems using pre-defined policies, procedures, and practice. When issues arise outside the scope of responsibility, supervisory personnel must be consulted.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
• 1 year experience in a medical office or radiology office setting preferred.
