Collections Specialist- Full Time- Medical Group
Collections Specialist Full Time M - F 80hrs pay
Position will be responsible for coordinating collection calls and/or mail to patients on open past due account balances for our multi-specialty network. It would involve setting up flexible payment plans, answering patient account questions, dispute resolution when needed, and settling third party payer issues. Performs insurance payment follow-up in order to reconcile patient account balances. Perform a variety of tasks and/or provide assistance with special projects as needed. Requires high school diploma, some college preferred with 2 - 4 years of related experience. Work independently under general supervision with excellent phone and customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required and medical billing system experience is a plus.
