Job Summary: Provides care to women and their families throughout their lifespan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs assessments of physical, psycosocial, and educational needs.
- Provides diagnosis and orders appropriate treatment and medication.
- Performs procedures within the scope of midwifery practice as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives and outlined in the practice guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Required Experience:
Graduate of Nurse Midwife Program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
Certification from American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
Current PA RN license.
Current PA Midwifery License with Prescriptive Authority
Current CPR required.
- 1-2 years midwifery experience preferred.
