Job Summary: Provides office administrative support and coordinates daily business operations for the physicians
Responsibilities:
• Triages telephone calls and appropriately handles.
• Schedules patients for procedures, diagnostic testing, office visits, and surgical appointments
• Obtains and tracks insurance verifications, precertifications.
• Supports office procedures and practices to facilitate office operations including registration, check-in and check-out, chart preparation, and scanning
• Maintains provider(s) schedules.
• Prepares and maintains reports and databases using appropriate software.
• May travel to satellite office locations to support physician(s) as required.
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in a medical office setting (including medical insurance authorization). Experience with
multiple computer software programs required.
