Job Summary: Provide care, safety, comfort and privacy of patients based on their individual needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides and documents direct patient care and activities, such as activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, assistance with exams, treatments and procedures and focused testing.
• Participates in unit activities such as supply stocking, patient transport, and equipment/appliance cleaning, checks and retrieval.
• Demonstrates effective communication (verbal and written) with patients, family, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
• Communicates pertinent patient data accurately and in a timely fashion to the appropriate RN.
• Inventories supplies and equipment, orders, receives, delivers and maintains adequate levels to meet patient care needs.
• Accurately analyzes and interprets ECG rhythms according to procedure.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years patient care experience preferred
• Completion of the Cardiac Monitor class
