Job Summary: Provides assessment, treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. 

Responsibilities:

• Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies
• Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness e.g. charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education
• Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies
• Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

• Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner CRT or TPP required
• Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care RRT preferred
• BCLS required upon hire
• 1 year of hospital respiratory experience preferred
