Job Summary: Has responsibility for daily management and oversight of the Quality/Pay for Value Practice Specialists and related programming throughout the Allegheny Clinic primary care network.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily oversight of direct reports and holds weekly quality team meetings to develop project plans, measure results and ensure timely communication and reporting with the assigned practices.
  • Works collaboratively with the primary care practice leadership and providers to review payer quality/pay for value programs, to develop, educate and implement strategic, operational and remedial plans to achieve expected results.
  • Serves as the content expert for all payer programs.
  • Partners with other departments, such as EPIC team, Coders, etc. and specialty practices to optimize pay for value programming.
  • Actively participates in Practice Manager Meetings to facilitate communication and operational plans.
  • Leads workflow redesign to promote proactive process improvement.
  • Presents high level pay for value performance results.
  • Interacts with payer representative regarding the operational implementation of program components.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS/BSN or equivalent experience
  • If RN, valid PA license
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous ambulatory/medical practice experience preferred; experience with Medicare STARS, Medicaid HEDIS, GPRO, risk value streams or population health management
