Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of journeyman level operations which includes construction, alterations and finishes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs new construction, additions, renovations and plumbing repairs according to Federal, State and Local Government Codes.
- Repairs, replaces, installs and builds hospital area plumbing equipment and fixtures. Performs preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Installs new equipment in accordance with hospital safety regulations and procedures, as well as governmental plumbing, fire and structural codes.
Education: Trade or vocational school diploma required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Allegheny County Plumbers License.
Complexity of Work: This job has the freedom to identify and define any plumbing problems that might develop throughout the campus and can resolve the problems under the direction of the Manager, On-Call Supervisor or other Departmental Manager.
Required Experience: 3 years plumbing experience.
