Social Worker MSW Part Time 40 hrs pay
Days plus Saturday rotation 8am - 4:30pm

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work required; MSW required for new hires; Attainment of MSW within (5) years of hire date required as condition of employment; current employees with BSW grandfathered; two years experience in a hospital/multidisciplinary health care setting preferred; Responsible to plan, develop, and implement and coordinate a comprehensive care plans with a goal to improve outcomes. This position collaborates with all disciplines for the purpose of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating/documenting psychosocial factors which contribute to patients' illnesses and/or have an impact on continuity of care; scope of services may include, but is not limited to, discharge planning, counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, suspected abuse, psychiatric services and guardianships per regulatory requirements. Services may be provided both inpatient and outpatient. Critical thinking skills. Current and active participation in professional organizations and professional development activities.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work effectively in both autonomous and team environments. Excellent time management and organizational skills.  Excellent customer service skills.  Quality and outcome oriented. Computer skills in a Windows environment.
