Services include cancer diagnosis and treatment, cardiovascular care, neurological and neurosurgical services, organ transplantation, orthopedic and rehabilitation services, and women’s health.

JOB DUTIES:
Assists Director Quality, Safety and Value with developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Facilitates interdisciplinary teams charged with improving quality, safety and efficiency throughout the organization.

Obtains and maintains current regulatory standards as related to state, federal and accreditation standards, both for the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Serves as resource person to all levels of the organization in the area of regulatory standards 

Works collaboratively with physicians, department heads and staff to address clinical compliance issues.

Supervises personnel, providing both mentoring and development opportunities as indicated.

Functions as liaison with AHN regulatory leads to ensure that Jefferson is aligned on a network level - both sharing and learning to continuously improve and to keep Jefferson in compliance with regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required

Must have demonstrated problem-solving ability and possess excellent communication skills.
Must be able to lead and facilitate teams, creating action plans and driving toward deadlines.
Must be both self-directed and possess the ability to direct staff to identify and complete projects as they related process improvement.
Knowledge of state, federal and Joint Commission requirements/ standards required.
Prior experience with IHI model for improvement (PDCA cycle) preferred

Previous management experience preferred.
Must demonstrate working knowledge of performance improvement principles;
experience with IHI model for improvement (PDCA) cycle preferred.
Must be able to effectively facilitate interdisciplinary work teams.
Must possess excellent organizational skills and manage multiple projects.
Must demonstrate the ability to direct/supervise while mentoring and providing developmental opportunities for assigned staff.
Must possess knowledge of state, federal and Joint Commission regulations and standards required.
