Job Summary: Performs all functions related to polysomnographic exams and multiple sleep latency testing to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Functions under licensed medical direction.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all polysomnograms and MSLTs according to clinical practice guidelines, as well as departmental policy and procedures. May score test results.
• Maintains proper calibration, quality control and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment.
• Organizes and prioritizes workload and scheduling of patient testing in an efficient and effective manner.  
• Assists with billing documentation and maintains department records according to departmental policy/procedure.  
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Graduate of polysomnography course or completion of an approved sleep lab training program preferred. Basic EEG course preferred.
• Current BCLS certification required upon hire. RPSGT, CRT or RRT preferred.
• Sleep study testing experience preferred. Computer experience preferred.
