We’re hiring a Test Automation Engineer (f/m)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Test Automation Engineer to join us to move our automated tests to the next level. In our business we have to ensure working processes in 2 worlds, the customer facing e-commerce platform and our internal enterprise systems. We're looking for test engineers who understand the needs of both worlds and who are able to provide automation frameworks to support end-to-end testing of our platform.
This position is full-time and based in our great office in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality of our e-commerce applications and internal tools in compliance with the defined quality criteria
  • Implementation of automated tests as part of backend and frontend testing
  • Maintain, improve and implement automation framework in alignment with established automation strategy and testing requirements
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test reporting
  • Educate the team in automated test tools; Be an ambassador of the values of automated tests within home24

Your strengths and experience

  • Several years of experience with automated testing
  • Experience in automated testing in a Jenkins, Selenium, PHP & Java environment is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Linux & SQL
  • Knowing Page Object Model is a plus
  • Experience with Sauce Labs desirable
  • Experience with e-commerce systems, where physical goods are being shipped is an asset
  • Strong team player willing to help and share knowledge with others
  • Proven organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently
  • Experience in a complex, multi-functional environment
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
