Overview of job

If you are a digital specialist who thrives on being given responsibility and are looking to make your mark then this role is for you.  As Digital Executive on a large FMCG client you will work across three divisions of the client business providing clients with brand and programmatic solutions. You will also work closely with the local client as well as our global contacts. A highly experienced Digital Associate Director who has a wealth of digital experience will be your coach and support.


Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Digital Associate Director.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Developed strong relationships with both your internal team members and also client teams (both locally & globally)
  • A thorough understanding of your client’s brands
  • A thorough understanding of the digital vision for each division and the role you play in making them a reality

In six months, you would have:

  • Completed a test and learn project and thus driving innovation
  • Written and agreed your personal development plan with your line manager

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Worked on at least one award-worthy campaign that has been presented at Product Showcase as best in class thinking and execution
  • Attended at least one training course as outlined on your personal development plan


Responsibilities of the role:
People – coaching, developing and inspiring the Assistant, working in a collaborative manner with all other team members

Product – developing integrated digital implementation strategies through to execution

Partners – developing trusted advisor relationships with all stakeholders at the client, building influential relationships with media partners that deliver an advantage for your client

Profit – ensuring accurate budget management for all digital campaigns


What you will need:

  • A passion for the media industry (specifically in the area of digital)
  • Technical skills/knowledge – adserving, tagging etc
  • Experience in producing implementation strategies and plans
  • Good client service skills – ideally experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • An ability to work across multiple campaigns concurrently
  • A creative mind and approach
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment (no egos please)
  • Proven record of using own initiative
