Measures of success –
In three months:
- Gained knowledge of digital planning
- Hands-on experience of digital platforms including ad trafficking, programmatic media –social, display and search, site analytics
- Exposure to reporting and optimisation needs
In six months:
- Continue to build knowledge of digital planning and buying and be confident to handle it with supervisor's guidance
- Hands-on experience of digital platforms including ad trafficking, programmatic media –social, display and search, site analytics
In 12 months:
- Ability to independently manage campaigns with little supervision
- Ability to execute and optimise across all digital platforms
- Involvement in digital planning
Responsibilities of the role:
Client related
- To work with the account teams under the guidance of the Head of Interaction and Interaction Manager to assist the account teams in delivering Digital media solutions
- Prepare digital media plans, including display/rich media advertising, search engine marketing, social media marketing, and mobile marketing, amongst others
- To update monthly schedules and media flowcharts according to the on-going changes
- To assist in preparing post-buy-analysis and preparing media information for client’s proposal
- To compile competitive expenditure information
- Keep track of market trends and update online media database accordingly
- Maintaining and grow relationships with interactive media sales representatives
Media related
- To administrate the buying documents, e.g. insertion order, material specification and copy rotation
- To follow up on the actual position in accordance with agreed proposal
- To verify the supplier invoices
- To maintain the internal media buying database
- To provide research support via proprietary and online research platforms
- To support continual overview of online landscape
- To support all biddable platforms
What you will need:
- University degree ideally in business, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field with 1 – 2 years working experience
- Must be flexible, highly motivated, passionate and able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced environment
- An ability to think innovatively and creatively
- Must be numerate and have strong attention to detail
- Must be well organized and have strong quantitative/analytical skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese is a must
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
