You will be working with iconic brands such across Banking, Travel, Automotive and Entertainment. You will play a fundamental role in driving this change across your clients and up-skilling the wider MEC client teams in the digital space - helping MEC and our clients realize the potential of our new digital and data vision…”Drive Transformational Marketing Solutions through the connection of Technology, Data, Insight and Content”.
You will ideally be a hybrid of digital strategist, communications planner and have worked on cutting-edge technology solutions for clients, someone with an understanding of technology, its capabilities and the impact for clients. You will also have the ability to craft broad reaching digital strategy and some experience in broad communications strategy.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Director.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- A full understanding of key accounts and client profile and how they can be optimized to drive performance
- Confidently delegated tasks to your direct reports ad managed their delivery
In six months:
- Built solid relationships with key clients
- Motivated, coached and uplifted team to perform new innovations
In 12 months:
- You will have to support, consolidate and strengthen the digital product strategy
- Driving Excellence in application on new technology and develop solution to clients’ business
Responsibilities of the role:
- Bringing innovative/creative use of technology into early strategy and idea development.
- Working in collaboration with the integrated planning lead and the client team to develop best in class, innovative solutions with key media owner partners (including working with the development/production teams at those partners).
- Establishing strategic use and application of new technologies to clients’ businesses.
- Driving cultural change in the way that we develop solutions to the challenges clients are facing.
- Managing MEC’s partnerships with, for example, VC’s, start-ups and development houses.
- Supporting (and at times, leading) internal initiatives that are focused on inspiring and driving excellence in the application of innovation and technology throughout the agency (e.g. Emerging Platforms Fast Track Scheme).
- Supporting MEC product strategy and evolution of planning product/process to incorporate applied innovation and technology.
- Act with high integrity while maintaining positive, open relationships with media partners and suppliers
- Serve as a role model to all those with whom you come into contact
- Foster an environment that inspires, encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity
- Participate in Agency / departmental task forces, project work and new business
- Keep abreast of current events in target markets that impact Client’s business(es)

- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, research, psychology, computer programming and/or communications preferred.
