Overview of job

As the Digital Manager oversees all day to day planning/client service activity. You will provide communication plan proposals, which will include tailor made campaign proposals by combining brand, consumer and media insights. You will oversees preparation of media plans and other deliverables under the proposal, and supervises communication plan implementation. 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Associate Director.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • You will be familiar with the working processes.
  • You will develop and build strong working relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • You'll better understand the clients' requirements through studying historic campaigns and following up the current campaigns.

In six months, you would have:

  • You will provides communication plan proposals internally and directly to the client, which will include tailor made campaign proposals by combining brand, consumer and media insights.  Oversees preparation of media plans and other deliverables under the proposal, and supervises communication plan implementation.

In 12 months, you would have:

  • You will build a comprehensive media knowledge base and synthesizes information into ideas, and share with teams and clients.
  • You will have the ability of staff supervision, training and development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Responsible for planning, buying and reporting to assigned accounts
  • Develop and build strong working relationships with internal teams
  • Responsible for mentoring, training, and team building
  • Manage publisher relationships, especially auto vertical site.  
  • Assist the Associate Director/Director in creating media plans, strategically and efficiently
  • Assist the Associate Director/Director in setting overall direction for program planning and negotiating strategies  
  • Initiate creative and business building ideas
  • Oversee plan negotiations and media team activities
  • Magnify the buying power of every dollar spent
  • Maintain status reports to ensure efficient workflow in order to meet deadlines and write reports of key meetings
  • Lead internal meetings with other departments and call on agency resources to strengthen ideas
  • Build a comprehensive media knowledge base and synthesizes information into ideas
  • Staff supervision, training and development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard
  • Writing and presenting presentations
  • Maintaining client contact

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience, automobile relevant experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a digital environment
  • Strong leadership and Strategic Thinker
  • Detailed oriented
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Strong negotiating skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
