Overview of job

As WPP leading executive content team, your key role will be delivering real business value to our clients in various categories with world-leading content IP (Intelligence Property) and best digital production. It requires you to deeply understand the business of our clients and the value of IP and digital ecosystem. In addition, you are expected to constantly explore new business opportunities either by finding new ways of monetizing emerging content resources.  

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the content director or above.

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Get a deep understanding of the digital content (digital, production, music, e-sports) industry and its ecosystem
  • Understand key content IP and keep a good relationship with internal and external partners
  • Know your key client and develop initial thoughts about how to bring business values to them

In six months:

  • Earn the trust of your key client by showing your contribution to their business
  • Lead the execution with content partner teams to truly deliver a business value to your client

In 12 months:

  • Play a key role in a digital content project from initial concept, tactical plan, resource negotiation and lead project execution
  • Expertly balance different parties’ interests to achieve each party’s own business objectives
  • Explore new opportunities to your key clients with suitable content IP.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Master the new trend and competitive landscape of the digital content industry in China
  • Interpret the marketing values of digital content resources and IP
  • Negotiate the best resource deal for client
  • Based on the content strategy and creative concept, implement suitable content resources into your client’s business operation to achieve their business objective. 
  • Collaborate with different internal and external teams to execute the plan.

  • Compelling storytelling skills that can be presented in a formal presentation or in daily conversation
