Commercial Supervisor
Description
As the Finance Supervisor of Trading Commercial team, you will assist the Commercial Director on the financial planning, tracking and analysis of the business unit. You will also be ensuring global compliance policies and best practices are followed. You will work closely with the business unit, trading team and agencies on sales and opt-in tracking, and partner with the business unit and SSC on system implementation and future enhancement.

Measures of success –
In three months, you would have:
- Be familiar with the revenue model of the business unit
- Be able to handle all related financial reports independently
In six months, you would have:
- Being the expert of the sales tracking system and underlying numbers
- A sense of what are the key compliance requirements
In 12 months, you would have:
- A good understanding of how proprietary media deals should be structured, and key compliance requirements
- A sense of how financial forecast and targets are developed for the business unit
Responsibilities of the role:
- Maintain the sales tracking either manually or after system launch, implement control procedures and regular checking to ensure correctness of the records;
- Work with SSC finance to ensure the accounting system and management books records tie with the sales tracking system;
- Independently hand all sales and client contract related reports;
- Work closely with the business unit and SSC to ensure healthy working capital is maintain and vendor contractual terms are followed
- Assist in inventory deal approval submission, vendor contract preparation and following up of deal performance
- Assist in trading income review, internal and external audits
- Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting and business reviews
What you will need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial sense and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented and proficiency in MS office
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting/finance area within adverting, media or marketing industries
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
