Overview of job
GroupM  Hong Kong is seeking an experienced business analyst in defining quality business requirement, specifications and acceptance criteria for any aspect of processes and systems for improvement opportunities and potential business benefits..


Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Program Director, North East Asia.

Measures of success –
In 3 months:
  • You will be up to speed with GroupM Environment and get basic understanding on Media industry
  • You will have started to build relationships with the key decision makers

In 6 months:
  • You will be lead on all systems planning for Hong Kong
  • You will be involved in all major GroupM systems management process
  • You will be to handle change implementation process

In 12 months:
  • You will be well understand GroupM business and able to help the business to meet with the fast changing business environment that in line with WPP standard.


Responsibilities of the role:
  • Accountable for applying agreed methods to carry out investigations, analysis, review and documentation in terms of business functions & processes, the information used & the data on which the information is based.
  • Accountable for defining requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems and quantification of potential business benefits.
  • Accountable for creating viable specifications and acceptance criteria suitable for procurement / construction of information and communication systems. 
  • Responsible for interpreting unstructured business needs and views into structured requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare business process roadmaps and business cases
  • Manage Technology Budget

What you will need:
  • Able to question & challenge users at all levels with confidence, in order to arrive at a clear, unambiguous view of requirements
  • Must be willing & able to apply structured requirements analysis & modelling methods, in line with WPP Security, Risk, Policies & Standards.
  • Strong analytic skills, excellent communication & stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Change implementation, planning and management
  • Benefits assessment and management
