Overview of the role

Mindshare is looking for a Media Buyer to join our fast growing team in Auckland. You will be responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of the media buying and planning process. This is a newly created role within a team experiencing exciting growth.

Reporting of the role

This role will report to Associate Manager & the Client Leader

Measures of Success:

In 3 months

  • Understanding Mindshare and brand culture and processes
  • Ensuring timely delivery  and deployment of plans
  • Efficiently tracking campaign results against planned KPI’s
  • Feeling part of the team

In 6 months

  • Working with Associate Manager on day-today implementation of media campaigns
  • Manage execution level media owner relationships
  • Co-Own the buying KPI’s with the Associate manager and ensure they are deliver to target
  • Ensure critical milestones and deadlines are met

In 12 months

  • Built a deep and strong relationship with media owners
  • Strong advocate for Mindshare values and culture


Responsibilities of the role

We are after someone who can set themselves a goal and then go after it.  You will eagerly measure campaign success against clear performance indicators and present back post-analysis.  You will be executing buying across a portfolio of clients. Confident working within team of internal stakeholders and have skills to build trust and influence quickly.
