Description
Matrix is looking for a Media planning professional with minimum 6 years of work experience who would be responsible for construction of plans, evaluations, dealing with channels, integrations, interacting with the client on key questions plan and implement campaigns. You should be extremely good at presentation skills and ideation as well.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Business Director.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Complete knowledge of entertainment categorie.
- Understood agency function – manage media budgets with end to end campaign management
- Able to understand agency and client working style and deliver on his day to day requirements
In six months:
- Independently work on the proprietary tools
- Handling internal media softwares and tools
- Develop a good client & agency relationship
In 12 months:
- Independently working on the client requirements
- Work on end to end solutions
- Learning and experience across traditional, digital, on-ground and branded content planning
- Train and mentor new joinees
Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide strategic communications & planning leadership on your set of business
- Help build effective media interventions on the back of strong Comms planning
- Act as a senior level contact for the client and have a strong understanding of cross channel media strategy. Should be able to lead strategic conversations on Media and communication planning
- Be responsible for the planning team career development & progression in the team
- Develop creative ideas and disruptive comms innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer and brand goals
- Work on new pitches, ideations & strategy presentations.
What you will need:
- 5-6 years’ experience in managing media planning/communication strategy & client relationships
- Strong understanding of brands & consumers
- Highly passionate, collaborative, outgoing, creative media leader and thinker
- Highly articulate, story-telling capability
- Business acumen
- Excellent in making presentations. (PPT)
- Ability to understand mediums beyond ATL
- Excellent communication/presentation/client management skills
- Deep understanding of all media especially Digital. Experience in new client pitch work is preferred
