Overview of job

This position offers a massive opportunity to build and be a part of largest performance marketing setup.  You will be responsible for crafting a performance strategy for clients and create success stories by winning clients. You will be responsible for building a team comprising functions across trading, alliances and Ad operations. Manage a team of biddable media experts working on platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. You will be responsible for growing the billing for Groupm’s west clients by providing holistic solutions in the performance space.

This role reports to the National Head – Search & Performance Marketing

Measures of success –

In 3 months:

  • Working with all constituents of performance eco-system under one single roof
  • Exposure to cutting edge technologies on performance.
  • Global practices on programmatic buying and trading.

In 6 months:

  • Learnt about effectively pitching 360 performance/programmatic products to clients;
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of media buyers and planners across 360 degree media and beyond
  • Get proficient with latest trading techniques and deals by managing largest portfolio publishers and channel partners

In 12 months:

  • Emerged as a coveted champion and go-to person on performance marketing solutions.
  • Become proficient is escalation handling and resolve conflicts.
  • Successfully mastered the art of winning pitches and awards.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Responsible for driving top line growth for performance based clients in West as a market;
  • Develop a SEM (search engine marketing) and Paid Social strategy for the clients/pitches. Working knowledge on SEO will be an added advantage Develop a holistic performance strategy for the clients/pitches.
  • Working on Bid management tools like Marin, DART, DFA, Google analytics code/goal, Omniture and keywords research to showcase market trends,
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Develop and strike partnership deals with key publishers and large affiliates
  • Ability to steer client review meetings on regular basis
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Ability to manage large teams on SEM for effective optimization of the campaigns.
  • Applied knowledge of 3rd party ad serving, website and tracking and associated technologies
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical skills, specifically relating to performance data and metrics
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising industry, trends, technologies (DMP, DSP, SSP etc.) and pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL, CPI et al)
