Maxus is establishing its Data & Analytics team and is looking for a Project Manager for successful planning, execution and monitoring on all data management and advanced analytics projects ensuring consistent and quality output. Close working relationships with the client management teams to provide all analytics support and alongside will have a large share in client interaction. Data warehousing and advanced analytics projects will be need to be managed.
Set overall timeline, manage data collection, database processing, and analytics work of project team. Build results presentations summarizing analysis results to provide key insights to end client and media planning teams.
Load data and modeling results to interactive online platform. Manage daily communications and requests.

Responsibilities
- Keep multiple complex projects well organized and executed.
- Manage specialist resources covering data management and advanced analytics
- Provide on-going support covering data management and advanced analytics projects
- Present to clients and prospective clients on data and analytics opportunities.
- Work on-site with the client, when appropriate.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Manage projects that primarily focus on reporting and optimizing media and marketing activities (including advertising, promotional activities and pricing strategies).
- Work in an integrated fashion with client marketing insight and marketing professionals to make recommendations based on analyses and experience.
- Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in data management or statistical analysis (Marketing Mix Analysis). Experience in attribution modeling, media mix modeling, or predictive sales modeling is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Experience with client management and presenting complex concepts and results to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using analytical, statistical and econometric modeling techniques as needed.
- General expertise in standard modeling techniques: regression, decision trees, clustering, and Bayesian techniques
- Experience with the full development life cycle of an analytical application stack – from raw data ingestion through to analytical outputs.
- Deep knowledge of data mining tools (Python, R, and Vertica) specifically within the area of developing productized analytical workflows.
- Experience with big-data concepts and tools; and open-source tools is preferred (e.g. AWS, Hadoop, PigLatin, Vertica, Hive, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with at least one of the major databases platforms (SQLServer, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Sybase, or Postgres).
- Prior knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, understanding of marketing/media metrics, and analytical products offered as a service is preferred but not required.
- Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation
- Experience in working with, managing and mentoring teams preferred
- Proven track record of dealing directly with clients is required.
