Mediacom Brisbane is looking a Senior Media Trading Executive  to join their team 

A&I Senior Executive

Overview of job
Manages day to day workflow of the A&I Coordinator ensuring delivery on all their key responsibilities as well as being accountable for the overall buying product and delivery of all campaigns within their client portfolio.

 Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Senior Manager and Group Director

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Demonstrated skills using the implementation and executation tools
  • Good understanding of your client group business

In six months:

  • Developed excellent client relations with your group of clients
  • Utilising the 20/20 connections process.
  • Presenting recommendations to clients and competently rationalising recommendations to clients

In 12 months:

  • Ability to identify new opportunities for clients based on their business objectives

What you will need:

People

 

  • Ability to delegate and oversee workload effectively
  • Proven experience guiding junior team members and providing on the job training
  • Comfortable escalating issues
  • Highly organised and structured
  • Ability to understand the importance of process and resourcefulness to identify process improvement

 

Product

  • Good understanding of all media channels, their strengths and weakness and how the marketplace impacts the media buy and plan
  • Competent use & knowledge of all Connected Execution/implementation tools (Comms Tracker, Frequency Calculator, MRO, Media Multiplier, Mscreen, Matrix, Roy Morgan, Adex, Move, SMI and Advantedge (where applicable)
  • Ability to translate strategy & Channel recommendation to activation execution
  • Has the ability to buy and plan across all media, with the ability to thoroughly provide rationale on the campaign performance and the recommended plan. .

Client

 

  • Confidence to challenge clients and media owners to achieve the very best delivery of all campaigns against the set parameters
  • Ability to collate media responses to form a holistic media recommendation to a client
  • Can competently discuss and rationalise buying results to client
  • Always portrays a smart appearance and a positive attitude at all external meetings

Commercial

  • Ability to understands Contract terms and Conditions and SOW deliverables
  • Good understanding of tools and solutions offer by GroupM to spot new business opportunities
