Buying Manager Mindshare Vietnam  

Overview of the Job  

The buying team of Mindshare is looking for a young, energized, self-motivated medibuying executive / manager with 2-4 years of experience. The resource will be responsible for a range of work on prestigious brands like Dutch Lady, Kinh Do and some other smaller brands including deal evaluations, dealing with the channels, integrations, interacting with the client on key questions & also managing internal SU’s. There is a lot of learning expected with an opportunity to work with a team having varied experience. The range of clients  
mentioned here would only help the person to get to work not only on the core Traditional media but also on other emerging mediums.  

Reporting of the role  

This role reports to the Partner, Client Leadership

Measures of success  
In three months, you would have:
  • Complete knowledge of your clients benchmarks
  • Completely hands on with the deal structuring, how to approach negotiations, standard SOPs for the clients etc.

In six months, you would have:

  • Start doing deals on some of the channels. Championing one genre

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Handling deals of some smaller clients completely on your own. Take charge of the deals, plans, approach etc for those accounts.
  • Start working on enhancing internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities of the role:  
  • To assist the Investment Group Head / Director in buying by providing necessary data – landscape
  • Data and deal construction / evaluation data
  • To collate ratings and generate MIS reports on program performance, channel shares
  • To maintain deal tracking MIS
  • To assist in production of post buy reports, CPRP reports and quarterly reviews
  • To negotiate position upgrades during execution
  • To contribute towards innovation idea generation
  • To assist in sponsorship negotiations and management
  • To negotiate inventory availability and block as required as per deal
  • Compliance against internal / External Audit for your set of accounts
  • Making relationships within GroupM system
  • Creating internal reports, work on reports for the clients
  • Rigorous tracking of deals as per audit norms
  • Help team with market intelligence & structured data which help in structuring better deals
  • Follow the new timesheet process
  • Up the involvement on client servicing
