Connect are looking for a high-performing, driven and passionate Affiliate Account Manager to work across a select group of high-profile clients.  You will enrich our affiliate network by leveraging your experience to creatively use cutting edge technologies, build long-term partnerships, provide campaign insights, undertake successful optimisations and deliver best-in-market client services.

This role reports to:  Affiliate Marketing Director

Measures of Success: 

In three months:

  • Demonstrated clear understanding of the Connect affiliate proposition
  • Mastered day to day running of account operations and optimising accounts for success
  • Trained and earned qualifications on all relevant technologies used
  • Built relationships with key stakeholder and Connect Team

In six months:

  • Taken ownership of stakeholder relationships and key account activities
  • Confidence in operating all affiliate technologies and managing day to day processes
  • Regular updates with your stakeholders to ensure performance and service levels are maintained

In 12 months:

  • Complete accountability for financials and performance of your accounts and team
  • Presented and ideally closed opportunities to develop our affiliate marketing product
  • Actively contributed in developing the affiliate marketing product of Connect
  • Become a trusted advisor for your stakeholders

 

Key Responsibilities of this Role

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of client affiliate marketing programs, which involves building an understanding of goals and success metrics, product set and competitors, and transform this information into marketing leading affiliate campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and manage campaign budgets effectively, all the while exceeding your campaign goals, objectives and expectations.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of all existing and new developments across the affiliate marketing landscape and technologies.
  • Effectively managing the on-going relationship with existing affiliates to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Managing the launch of new client products across the aggregators, partners and affiliates.
  • Acquisition, retention and activation of new affiliates and partnerships.
  • Analyse ongoing results to identify campaign trends and key insights to help meet and exceed client goals.
  • Grow and nurture a strong relationship with all relevant contacts within client and agency businesses. 
  • Identify opportunities to not only grow and develop client affiliate marketing campaigns, but look for creative ways to introduce new products and opportunities. 
  • Manage up to the Director, the status of accounts as well as providing campaign forecasts. 
  • Manage a direct report, providing training, mentorship and development opportunities – passing on best practice and cultivating best in market talent.


What You Will Bring To Our Team:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience within Affiliate Marketing, managing and optimising campaigns, on experience in either the agency, network or technology side. 
  • Intermediate to high level of experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for affiliate marketing, and a sound understanding of the technology and trends shaping the industry.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, ROI and ability to drive efficiency, as well as analysing data and delivering insights. 
  • Demonstrable experience in affiliate SaaS platforms.
  • Solid understanding of conversion tracking and ad serving technologies, in terms of tracking set up, the workflow and troubleshooting. 
  • People management experience highly desirable. 
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including a confidence in presenting and experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands.
