Position at Xaxis

As a Xaxis Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for evangelizing Xaxis solutions amongst your peers within agencies and clients, and developing deep relationships to ensure optimal adoption of all product features. You will collaborate with a group of quick-witted co-workers and clients who are all passionate about digital media. You will engage with our clients in professional and social settings, build relationships and define and implement products, which make us indispensable to our clients. You will help manage both agency/client relationships and negotiate effective media deals to exceed financial targets whilst acting as an audience buying expert.

This role reports to the Director of Client Engagement

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Been familiar with work flow and GroupM business structure

In six months:

  • Been able to oversee day-to-day management of campaigns; Forecast expected revenue against budget

In 12 months:

  • Become an expert with Xaxis business development & client service

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop business opportunities, maintain pipeline of prospects and close the deals
  • Develop and execute against agency & client business plans
  • Evangelize Xaxis solutions and values and act as an audience planning expert
  • Supervise the sales administration process to ensure adherence to best practice and see that all service levels are exceeded
  • Ensure your client base have updated information including sales collateral and information on new products
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor products for competitor comparison or analysis
  • Develop and implement 12 month Business Plans for designated Agencies

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree majoring in marketing or media preferred
  • Proven successful engagement, business development, sales, and planning skills
  • Experience in understanding a commercial business
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer service, sales or account management areas
  • Proven commercial experience in online advertising sales related industry
  • High customer focus
  • Ability to develop strong, lasting client relationships
  • Excellent sales & negotiation skills
  • Results/ goal oriented
  • Highly-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gain excellent product, competitor & market knowledge
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Power Point, Excel, Word & Outlook skills mandatory
  • Excellent planning and self-organization discipline
  • Fluent in both English and Any local Language
  • Attitude: Pursues work with energy, drive and a strong accomplishment orientation
