Maxus is looking for a Business Group Head to lead a product vertical team in its integrated Google Team. The team comprises of traditional and digital specialists working as an integrated team.

You should be proficient in media strategy development and creating traditional mass media solutions. Industry software knowledge & usage – BARC/ IRS TGI. In addition, thorough knowledge of media marketplace & opportunities available.

Responsible for complete end-to-end project management including client engagement and overseeing day to day operations. Interact with all the Strategic Units & ensure smooth functioning of the team & processes

 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Client Director.

Measures of success – Short term goals to be achieved will be to gain client confidence & collaborate with internal teams/Strategic units

In 3 months:

  • Understood Maxus way of working & are able to navigate through the verticals
  • Understood the product portfolio and the TG
  • Presented brand & plan strategies to the client

In 6 months:

  • Initiated & delivered at least 2 key projects

  • Worked on Award entries
  • Built high credibility with the team & client
  • Develop a team of highly motivated media planners

Responsibilities of the role:

    • Act as a senior level contact for the client and have a strong understanding of cross channel media strategy. Should be able to lead strategic conversations on Media and communication planning
    • Help build effective media interventions on the back of strong Comms planning
    • Provide media plans across mediums post media brief mining and other data analysis.
    • Continuously work with the clients to arrive at the best process/systems for efficient and effective management of work streams.
  • Develop creative ideas and disruptive comms/media innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer and brand goals.
  • Be responsible for the planning team career development & progression in the team

What you will need:

Strategic & Media Planning

  • Strong understanding of brands & consumers
  • 5-7 years’ experience in managing media planning/communication strategy & client relationships
  • Experience in working on integrated media strategy and planning including traditional media, digital and mobile media will be preferred
