Overview of job

We are looking for a Biddable Media Manager to join our team of digital marketing professionals at Mindshare. In this role you will work across an exciting, blue chip client portfolio. This role would be highly client facing, creating and developing strong relationships with your client contacts, and working closely with internal teams across offline media, strategy and experiential media.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Begun to build strong relationships with your team, key stakeholders at Mindshare and, of course, your clients
  • Become comfortable with the way Mindshare works, including its different departments, and how we all work together as an integrated team

In six months, you would have:

  • Identified opportunities to evolve and improve your client’s performance, and earnt their trust to be able to propose such changes
  • Started to learn about the other digital channels and how they fit into the whole ecosystem, including being able to talk to clients
  • You will be confidently running your accounts, meeting all KPIs, and be assuming all client relationship management.

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Become a trusted advisor for your clients, and an integral part of the team at Mindshare
  • Developed yourself to be a true total-digital manager, capable of talking knowledgeably across all digital channels

 


Responsibilities of the role:

The key responsibility is the setup and optimisation of Paid Search and Biddable Media campaigns to the highest standard. The Biddable Media Manager will have responsibility for ensuring client campaigns are budgeted accurately and include up to date SEM and Biddable Media best practices.
Day to Day tasks include:

  • Lead high profile client relationships and ensure on-going client satisfaction
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams
  • Consistently deliver against client goals
  • Work with clients to develop and implement advanced search strategies to improve their results
  • Have a good understanding of the client category, e.g. market share, purchase barriers, key competitors
  • Provide clear direction for implementation teams, and ensure this is delivered
  • Drive on-going campaign development and optimisation

 

What you will need:

  • Solid experience across paid search, including campaign creation and optimisation
  • Deep understanding of other digital media channels, especially paid social media and display
  • Passion for delivering high quality service
  • Excellent communication skills: you need to be liaising with internal teams to create integrated strategy, providing clear plans for your implementation teams and being a trusted partner of the client, who can explain your speciality in basic terminology
  • Experience working across blue chip clients
