Overview of job
We are looking for a Client Service Director to work across our GroupM’s four media agency Strategic and Tactical teams to assist internal and client education, consulting and joint planning to drive audience campaigns and add value and insight to our clients campaigns.

 Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Client Service Head in Shanghai

Measures of success – 

  • Become an expert with Xaxis business development & client service
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns
  • Forecast expected revenue against budget
  • Develop supporting & long term relationships with all your designated media buying agencies & clients direct
  • Grow the base of advertisers within your designated agencies and direct client
  • Coordinate communication with the ad operations team before, during and after campaign, co-work with product team, analytics team, data team and marketing team across China and regional.
  • Develop and implemented 12 month Business Plans for designated Agencies and direct client
  • Engaged existing resources (the wider team) to achieve high outcomes
  • Set Account Service Best Practice benchmarks for the team and ensure SLA’s (service level agreements) are adhered to

In three months:

  • Been familiar with Xaxis products and process.
  • Worked out client/business development strategy.



In six months:

  • Been at full speed with client development.  


In 12 months:

  • Identified areas for improvement.


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop business opportunities, maintain pipeline of prospects and close the deals
  • Develop and execute against agency & client business plans
  • Evangelize Xaxis solutions and values and act as an audience planning expert
  • Supervise the sales administration process to ensure adherence to best practice and see that all service levels are exceeded
  • Ensure your client base have updated information including sales collateral and information on new products
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor products for competitor comparison or analysis
  • Develop and implement 12 month Business Plans for designated Agencies

 

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree majoring in marketing or media preferred
  • Proven successful engagement, business development, sales, and planning skills
  • Experience in understanding a commercial business
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer service, sales, or account management areas
  • Proven commercial experience in online advertising sales related industry
