Position at Maxus

Maxus is looking for a Business Manger to manage part of the portfolio for its client Google.

You should have a strong exposure to traditional media planning. Will be responsible for handling day to day operations.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Group Head

Measures of success – Short term goals to be achieved will be to gain client confidence, planning for the portfolio & execution of the plans

In 3 months:

  • Understand the category and products
  • Understood Maxus way of working
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of media fundamentals and landscape

In 6 months:

  • Delivery of plans and initiatives on at least 2 projects
  • Successfully lead media discussion with the client

In 12 months:

  • Gained the trust of client
  • Honed your media skills and knowledge across spectrum of channels / platforms including digital
  •  

Responsibilities of the role:

    • Use knowledge of the tools and planning techniques to prepare sound planning alternatives for the assigned portfolio of brands/products
    • Work independently on certain set of briefs on the brand
  • Be responsible for the overall planning & implementation for your set of brands
  • Monitoring the progress and reporting of the plan implementations.

 

What you will need:

Strategic Planning

  • Strong understanding of media planning fundamentals and media landscape
  • 3 years’ experience in managing media planning/communication strategy & client relationships
  • Ability to understand mediums beyond ATL
  • Communication Skills
  • Highly articulate, story-telling capability
  • Management Skills
  • A good understanding of implementation processes and systems
