Overview of job
As the Media Planning Manager, you will deal with various local brands portfolio. You will also be helping to manage the client’s media business in the fastest moving and most fascinating countries in the world. 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Media Planning Director/ Associate Director.

Measures of success –

You’ll be able to articulate know all the offline media brief, who we’re trying to engage with, and have a clear understanding of the media budget and time line control

In three months:

  • Able to clearly articulate understand the brand’s business, products, goals & objectives
  • Clarify each media brief from client, confirm the success KPI on each campaign, make clear brief to TP team and send the timeline
  • Gained a firm understanding of the available planning, budgeting, and measurement tools available at Mindshare
  • Team management, you will work closely and training your executive/associate to deliver each report, payment control, competitor report.
  • Good communication skills with clients side and internal team
  • Daily communicate and explain the plan/report to client
  • Weekly status meeting management with client

In six months:

  • Training well your Executive as good helper- provide accurate information
  • You will have gained a daily / weekly / monthly routine to ensure budget reconciliations are completed and reporting & insights are delivered on schedule
  • Been able to prepare flexible, adaptive plans that represent Mindshare’s POV
  • Ensure recommended media strategies align to client’s objectives and include estimated performance and ROI

In 12 months:

  • Developed strong client communication, setting face to face meeting with client per week, independent got the client’s approve with our media proposal
  • Ensured media tactics are meeting monthly & quarterly goals set forth by the client
  • Provide the quarterly/HF/FY year media review with our clearly media strategy

Responsibilities of the role:

  • The media manager will be responsible for keeping a close eye on the full year budget, while ensuring strategies & tactics ladder up to achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets. 
  • Kept good communication power with client and enhance the good relationship.
  • Kept internal team in the same page and working closely with each function team, like TP team, BP team, meanwhile clearly translate all the brief and push the feedback on time

What you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in media agency or relevant Job
  • Previous experience should including traditional TV/OTV planning and digital background also is appreciate 
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • A positive, take-charge attitude with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity
