Overview of job
We are looking for outstanding graduates for our new intake (mid of February 2017) of Media Masters at GroupM Malaysia – the world’s largest media company.  Combining concepts and hands-on practical approach, this 12-week graduate trainee program has been designed to be the foundation that prepares young and bright talents to fast-track to become the future superstars and leaders of the exciting media industry.

Measures of success –
In three months:

  • Unlocked new achievements by acquiring relevant media work experience and skills valued by the industry.
  • Attained industry-recognized qualifications and certificates such as Google Training Certification, which will be valuable for your career portfolio.
  • You would have worked on real media briefs from one of the biggest global brand, with full media campaign ideas.
  • Built valuable relationships with Leaders and Influencers from the digital and media space from the agency, media partners and global brands across various industries.

 

What you will need:

  • Open to fresh graduates and entry-level professional with less than 1 year experience in any discipline, but preferably with a good university Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Mathematics, Business and/or Communications e.g. Communications Research, Communication  Technology, Economics, Statistics, Management, Integrated Marketing Communications and other similar disciplines.
  • A big appetite in the ever-changing digital space.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrate strong interest to build an exciting career in media and communications.
  • Appreciation for numbers, statistics and data with the ability to interpret and translate the findings into successful media campaigns.
  • Adaptable to constant changes, as the media business is ever-evolving.
  • Graduate trainees will be paid a competitive starting salary throughout the program.
