Overview of job

• Array of financial functions, including taxation, accounting, Internal control, audit, financial planning and analysis with extremely strong focus on financial control (integrity of financial reporting, financial controls), business control (understanding the relationship of financial results and forecasts to operating metrics and economics of the business) and strategic control (linking financial results, analysis and planning to strategy and decision-making)
• The job requires the candidate to display
• an ability to work along with key corporate functionaries such as Legal, HR and Information Technology in a administrative officer capacity
• Experience in making financial and business presentations
• appreciation for and experience in the deployment of modern information technology solutions in the front and back office of an enterprise.

This role reports to the CFO GroupM India and MD Maxus

Measures of success:

In three months, you would have:

• Got a grip on the existing processes
• MIS understanding
• Staff relationships

In six months, you would have:

• Met up with important clients
• Studied Debtors position
• MIS deep understanding
• Accounting responsibilities taken over

In 12 months, you would have:

• Full understanding of our business
• Client relationships
• Opinion on all the existing team members for evaluation purposes

 Responsibilities of the role:

• Provide overall leadership to the company’s business financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring that those exercises produce aggressive yet realistic plans for the company as a whole and for individual departments within.
• Ensure that the MD, and all levels of the organisation are provided with accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting that is meaningful to running the business. Work with business unit heads to ensure that financial reporting is oriented to the specific decisions and issues each faces.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and accounting practices
