Position at MediaCom

In this role, you will have full responsibility of day to day activities on the client(s) assigned. You will be the overall in charge of handling the daily operational work in alignment with the line manager and the digital planning team. 

You will effectively plan, execute and optimize paid search marketing activities for a series of global leading brands in a top luxury corporate. You will be expected to maintain a good relationship with media vendors to facilitate daily operation.

Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Search Director in Guangzhou

Measures of success – 
In three months: 

  • Manage multiple Search accounts under this corporate
  • Started implementing ideas for optimization
  • Generate first insights from regular reporting
  • Independently respond most queries from client or planning team

In six months:

  • Independently respond all queries from client or planning team
  • Seeing clear results from your optimizations and developing more optimization ideas
  • Build confidence to client and planning team with high quality delivery

In 12 months:

  • Assist line Manager in annual review/planning proposal for this client
  • Have achieved a clear optimization path
  • Keep track on the latest industry innovation and product development trends

Responsibilities of the role:

  1. Fulfill monthly SEM KPI and deliver report on-time to key clients.
  2. Provide professional logical analysis and optimization plan in report
  3. Manage key vendor relationship effectively
  4. Strong problem solving capability and implementation capacity.
  5. Manage day to day operational work on the given client(s) with the team
  6. Ensure client projects are kept on track while adhering to campaign objectives.
  7. Manage the daily communication with multiple parties; able to react to sudden requests/issues with proper attitude and professional skills.
  8. Deploy SEM tools in optimization
  9. Understand and keep updated with the fundamentals of Search marketing 

What you will need:

  1. Above 2-3 years proven experience of Search and account service digital / media agency, (4A agency is preferred); proficient skill set in SEM is mandatory.
  2. Work experience with established high end brands preferred
  3. Valid Baidu SEM certificate owner is preferred;
  4. Good at English & Chinese reading & writing.
