Overview of job
Mindshare is looking for a Supervisor, Connection Planning to join our team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for delivering best practice client service and market leading work. You will be responsible for efficient and correct administration procedures.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Director.

Measures of success -
In three months:
- You will supervise and coach your team;
- You will ensure the team runs smooth day-to-day media plan implementations
- You will be familiarize with the basic media planning concept and planning tools usage
In six months:
- You will be the key contact for some accounts
- You will be capable to drive innovative media strategies in both digital and offline
- You will lead the client meeting and work with client independently
- With the manager’s guidance, you will be capable to do the media planning proposal
- You will be able to do digital and offline media evaluation with your POV input
In 12 months:
- You will lead internal core teams and building strong relationship with external clients
- You will be able to grow the team and ensure best quality work delivery
- Oversee and monitoring the whole media planning
- In long run, you will have to develop media strategies and recommendations based on the media brief
Responsibilities of the role:
- Key contact point to manage all aspects of media with integrated skill set (digital and offline) for a key account in Mindshare
- Develop media strategies and recommendations based on the media brief, having sufficient knowledge to support and rationalize recommendations
- Prepare and present media strategies and plans
- Translate media plans into effective buys and supervise implementation;
- Oversee and quality control of media monitoring, proof of performance, campaign optimization and post-analysis
- Anticipate, review and present point-of-views on media trends, issues, developments and opportunities
- Develop and maintain good relationship with key media vendors and internal teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients and have a good understanding of our clients’ business
- Work with junior team member(s) to develop his/her media capabilities
What you will need:
- Around 4 years relevant working experience in digital and offline, with strong organizational and numeracy skills
- Passionate to pursue career in media/digital industry
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong negotiations skills
- Able to sell concepts and solutions to clients and key stakeholders
- Adaptable to the changing environment
