Maxus is looking for a Data Scientist & Analytics lead working as the key contact for leading the data science and analysis practice for Team Google working closely with Business Team, Digital Analytics Hub and Strategy Lead to unearth data based actionable insights that help make marketing actions impact business results. The candidate will be part of the integrated team Google.
Responsible for specializing in fact based business & consumer insights. The candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing massive amount of data, design data models, outlining of effectiveness dashboards for checking return on marketing investments. Enabling clients to monitor, evaluate and optimize media investments so to help them achieve significant and lasting improvements in marketing effectiveness and profitability.
The candidate must have a positive attitude, self-motivated, able to operate independently, dedicated individual who can thrive on challenges in a small, intense and high growth environment.

Measures of success –
In three months, you would have:
- Displayed significant understanding of data to make better business decisions
- Build and presented a Media effectiveness proposal for client
- Interacted with the client on multiple occasions & ensure Project kickoff
In six months, you would have:
- Developed and automated “frequently-used” strategies and leverage them as part of the campaign optimisation process.
- Proven ability to navigate an extract right data from right data sources and be able to efficiently analyse and interpret data for key insights and recommendations
- Implemented various performance trackers for campaigns as well as spend trackers for various markets
- Develop a pipeline of potential projects for the brand
In twelve months, you would have:
- Displayed deep technical knowledge of Data and Analytics tools and ability to conceive, architect and build key analytics components to suit business needs and bring value to the brand
- Developed relevant applications that contributes to campaign optimisation and reporting
Responsibilities of the role:
- Data Ownership & Processes
- Provide ongoing analytical support utilizing data management, technology and modeling (such as market mix modelling) to address client issues regarding advertising, media and new products
- Collection and ensure accuracy of data from internal/external data sources (include data
- Making Data-Informed Decisions
- Analyse data and generate graphics and insights for use in client presentations
- Analyze results and trends in order to assist in making recommendations and present results to stakeholders
- Collaboration
- Work closely with teams to develop/improve and implement data strategies to campaigns.
- Reporting
- Responsible for the development of weekly, monthly and quarterly and annually market reporting
- Perform post- campaign analysis of strategies
- Become a Data Advocate
- Assist CORE teams as well as Clients to understand and power of analytical approach to decision-making
- Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules
What you will need:
- Academic Qualification
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors university degree in any of the following fields
- Mathematics/Statistics/Economics
- Analytics/Business Analytics
- Computer Science/Information Technology/Information System
- Engineering
- Candidate should have at least 8+ years of work experience
