Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented Planning Manager to lead one of our prestigious and challenging categories. You will be directly involved in the holistic planning and execution of both traditional and digital advertising campaigns for one of our key clients.

Measures of success –
In three months, you would have:
- Get acquainted with one of the most advanced planning processes and acquire the required skills with on the job training
- Independently complete 80%+ queries from client, which may include the Reviews/Annual presentations for the brand
In six months, you would have:
- Independently respond to all queries from client with assistant support
- Anticipate clients’ common queries and provide response or solutions proactively
In 12 months, you would have:
- Completely manage all annual review/planning proposals for this client
- Start overseeing another brand independently
Responsibilities of the role:
- Plan, develop, present and execute online media campaigns in multiple channels
- Consult with clients and other agency staff to establish and achieve specific media goals and objectives.
- Evaluate media proposals by research. Provide necessary support in the execution, trafficking, managing and optimization of traditional and online media campaigns.
- Monitor the results of all campaigns to ensure they run smoothly and meet the clients’ goals.
- Provide campaign reports with results, campaign conclusions and suggested optimizations.
- Troubleshoot media discrepancies with clients.
- Maintain and stay current on industry news and research.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and publishers.
- Ability to work closely with dynamic and international team members to meet tight deadlines.
- Mange and lead a team with effective client servicing
What you will need:
- The right attitude to learn, adapt and perform
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of media planning experience
- Bachelor degree in Advertising, Marketing or related program
- Strong analytical skills
- Well versed in writing proposals and presenting strategies in both Chinese and English (must be able to comfortably communicate in English on daily basis)
- Superb communication skills, clear and professional in client communications. Confident, outspoken, contributing and not afraid of challenges.
- Excellent project manager, ability to be on top of all things and managing client and internal expectations
- Supreme time management.
- Mentoring ability. Must have experience with managing a team of planners
- Build rapport and maintaining good relationship with internal stakeholders
- Excellent understanding of local media landscape and good working relationship with vendors (display, mobile, search, social, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with a good degree of technical understanding
- Be able to think on the fly, demonstrate out of the box thinker
- Must be organized and efficient while working on multiple tasks
- Self- starter and independent worker with a drive
- Desire to learn and grow with can-do attitude
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
