Measures of success –
In three months, you would:
Build an integrated strategy to address the overall communications objective, together with the Business Lead. Within the plan, you would articulate the hybrid media strategy and drive excellence through ideas and innovation.
In six months, you would:
Oversee the project management, negotiation, purchase and execution of hybrid media campaigns together with various team members assigned to the account. You would also have driven implantation across all digital platforms, including display, video, search and mobile.
In twelve months, you would:
Direct the development and presentation of media plans, media buys and analyses.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Contribute to delivering MediaCom objectives across client service, quality control, reputation, industry exposure.
- Active contribution to the creation of the MediaCom vision and capacity/desire to help drive it forward and deliver on it.
- Technology and operations specialist. The candidate will know exactly what technology to use in the implementation process to create return or increase efficiency and will be able to implement these.
- Build, manage and track key trading relationships with publishers.
- Responsible for the tactical output of all digital work completed by the team.
- Thorough understanding of existing research/analytic techniques and knowledge of how to interrogate these.
- Ability to deliver/present approaches convincingly to both internal stakeholders and external clients
What you will need:
- Minimum 8 years in media channels and contacts, both digital and traditional.
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in any of the following courses - Advertising, Communication Arts, Communication, Marketing or Business Administration.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.
- Strong analytical and number skills.
- Passion for learning and openness to new challenges.
- Meticulous, independent and adaptable.
