Overview of job

You will be responsible for building brand health through digital assets for the company’s key accounts, and for ensuring that the work exceeds or meets the high standards set by GM Indonesia.

Measures of Success

In three months:

  • Mastered Client management, delivering superior service and output for Accounts handled.
  • Managed to handle projects/executions independently. Achieved a clear grasp of the ins and outs of the brands handled.

 

In six months:

  • Identified new opportunities to grow businesses handled.
  • Established relationships with Clients and support teams.
  • Confidently presented to Clients and colleagues.

 

In 12 months:

  • Majorly contributed to the successful launch of digital campaigns of brands handled.
  • Managed Accounts handled with minimal supervision.
  • Achieved 100% of revenue targets set for you.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Be part of the client’s marketing team through digital advertising strategy. Represent your client’s interests in GroupM Connect; create and maintain the client manifesto both internally and externally
  • Continually assess our service level on client accounts and adjust where necessary
  • Client profitability and budget forecasting
  • Be the lynchpin for all specialisms internally at GroupM Connect. Have oversight of our total service to the client.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, agency partners, media vendors, internal local/regional teams to ensure alignment and integration and playing the role of a trusted advisor
  • Direct and manage day-to-day needs of the accounts in line with brand guidelines with effective time and resource allocation
  • Overall management of client budgets/ spends
  • Lead innovation and creative thinking across the team
  • Develop strategies and ideas for digital campaigns. Ensuring a follow up on digital media recommendations and making sure that implementation goals are effectively met
  • Identify and pitch for new business opportunities or organic revenue growth opportunities
  • Develop leadership skills by coaching and development of the team

What you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising-preferably Digital.
  • With proven track record in Account Management and business development
  • Confident and comfortable in communicating in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent negotiating skills and are looking for a competitive but fast-growing environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of the internet culture from web development and design to online marketing
  • Background in on-line communications is an advantage
  • Smart, motivated individual with a strong sense of initiative
  • Has good pre presentation skills, very strong interpersonal relationship skills, proactive, aggressive, and persistent.
