Planning Manager
Description
You will provide media planning recommendations internally and directly to the client, oversee preparation of media plans and other deliverables, and supervise media plan implementation. You will also be in charge of supervising the team in executing media plans.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Planning Director.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Responsible for planning, buying and reporting to assigned accounts
- Develop and build strong working relationships with internal teams
- Responsible for mentoring, training, and team building
In six months:
- Manage vendor relationships
- Assist the Associate Director/Director in creating media plans, strategically and efficiently
- Assist the Associate Director/Director in setting overall direction for program planning and negotiating strategies

- Staff supervision, training and development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard

- Staff supervision, training and development as well as serving as a positive role model with a hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high quality standard

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience
- Prior experience working in an Interactive/Digital environment
- Strong leadership and Strategic Thinker
- Detailed oriented
- Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- Strong negotiating skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills which include maintaining positive client relationships
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
- Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
- Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
